Healing
What I Did
Cannabis Oil-I did the Rick Simpson protocol of 60 grams of oil in 90 days (http://phoenixtears.ca/dosage-information/). I started with a very small dose equivalent of a 1/2 grain of rice. The protocol is to double it every four days until you reach 1 gram a day. I did it a bit differently. I took more time to build my tolerance and went back to Oklahoma to sell the house, so all in all, it took me 8 months.
I used concentrated cannabis oil in a syringe. The color/consistency ranged from golden/honey to black/tar, depending on the method in which it was processed. I was measuring out the dosage from the syringe into gel caps and swallowing them. I took them throughout the day. I was also taking raw buds packed in a gel caps of high CBD plant (Charlotte’s Web & Harlequin). I took several of these throughout the day in addition to the oil.
I was not able to buy all the oil I needed all at once, due to restrictions on supply, and availability. The ratio of THC:CBD was not always the same per tube of oil. It would be a good idea to secure a full 90 day supply in the ratio you need so you don’t end up running out and not being able to find your medicine at a crucial point in your treatment.
I tried to get a high THC (50%-70%). I used mostly Sativa and Hybrid, but later learned that Indica is what is recommended. I think the reactions I had in the beginning was due to it being Sativa, which caused me to be very restless and anxious. Because of this, I needed to walk instead of sleep, so I lost over 30 pounds walking 3 hours or more almost every day. It also gave me the added benefit of deep breathing (going up and down the hills of San Francisco), getting my cardiovascular system in good shape, and aiding in my digestion. In other words, by walking I added so many other benefits to my overall health.
I drank at least 6 oz fresh juice almost every day of mostly
Kale, Carrots, Ginger root, turmeric root, celery, and beet.
I made morning smoothies with ingredients (all non-gmo, organic, and gluten free) such as:
Vegetable protein, flax oil, ground flax seed, various berries and fruit, maca powder, black seed oil, coconut water, coconut or almond milk, powdered multi vitamins, organic almond butter, and other variations of healthy organic ingredients.
I drank lots of alkaline water from a water filter. I would suggest drinking as much of this water as possible to flush your system consistently.
I ate organic, gluten-free, NON-GMO on all groceries and prepared food. I tried to eat lots of fruit and vegetables.
Sugar-I cut way back on sugar but was not able to give it up completely, but I made better choices.
I ate lots of fresh organic garlic. I added it to everything I could.
I drank lots of green tea, as well as hot tea with lemon, organic honey, cinnamon, fresh turmeric, and fresh ginger.

Citicoline (CDP Choline, Cognizin)- supports brain function and helped me with the side effects of the high THC. Caution! New research has shown that caution may be advised for cancer patients.
Dr. Joe D. Goldstrich has written the following :
A word of caution concerning citicoline. While citicoline has been shown to be beneficial in ameliorating the adverse effects of acute ischemic stroke, http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/24739589 , it may not be the best agent for supporting cognition while using cannabis to combat cancer, especially glioblastomas and other tumors treated with bevacizumab (Avastin).
Following a stroke, citicoline helps promotes new blood vessel formation (angiogenesis) via induction and upregulation of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF). Induction of VEGF helps promote new blood vessels to the area of the brain undergoing healing and regeneration. This is a good thing. http://examine.com/supplements/CDP-choline/ , http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/?term=citicoline+vegf Avastin is a monoclonal antibody that blocks angiogenesis by inhibiting VEGF. New blood vessels support the growth of primary tumors and their metastases. Avastin has been used to treat metastatic colon cancer, certain lung cancers, renal cancers, ovarian cancers, and several eye diseases that are characterized by excessive vascularization (e.g. diabetic retinopathy). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bevacizumab
Avastin and citicoline appear to have opposite effects on new blood vessel formation. While new blood vessels may be an important aspect of recovery from an acute ischemic stroke, shutting down blood flow to primary and metastatic tumors is a way of destroying these cancers.
Citicoline is also beneficial in acute ischemic stroke and retinal neurodegeneration by helping injured brain and retina cells stay alive. It has an anti-apoptotic action. THC is thought to help kill cancer cells by inducing apoptosis (programmed cell death). http://examine.com/supplements/CDP-choline/ , http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/24736780
As you can see, citicoline appears to promote (at least in acute ischemic stroke) VEGA and anti-apoptosis. For these reasons it seems prudent to not use citicoline as a cognition booster and psycho activity inhibitor in conjunction THC treatments for cancer. Another nootropic nutraceutical, Bacopa monnieri, appears to have pro-apoptotic actions http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/22467255 and may thus be a better nutritional supplement for countering THC induced psycho activity.
Apricot kernels -several a day (The amygdalin extracted from apricot kernels has been used to create a chemically modified version of B17 known as Laetrile.) Please be careful and find the correct dosage of these kernels because they contain arsenic and can be dangerous.
Black Seed Oil (Nigella sativa)-1 teaspoon added to smoothies (Croatian scientists evaluated the antitumor activity of thymoquinone and thymohydroquinone in mice and discovered that the two phytochemicals in black seed oil resulted in 52% decrease in tumor cells.)
I walked at least 3 miles almost every day. I spent time in nature, taking in beauty, deep breathing and learning how to play and have fun.
I did Panache Desai’s work on releasing pent up emotional density through his book, Discovering Your Soul Signature, 33 day path to Purpose, Passion, & Joy.
I did self hypnosis on a regular basis, with subjects such as Healing Cancer and Perfect Radiant Health.
Creative Visualization in the morning: I used the following, as well as others, but the main focus was to try to bring in all my senses to make it so real I could see, hear, feel, & taste it.
It would go something like this:
I would see my husband and I sitting in the Neuro Oncologist’s office waiting on the results. I would pick up a bottle of water and taste and feel it in my mouth as I took a sip or two. I would pay attention to the smell of the clinical environment, and I would pay attention to the feel of the seat under me as I waited. I would hear the door open and see the doctor come in and feel him shake my hand and sit down. I would see the doctor pulling up my MRI scans on the screen and immediately we would see the old one with the tumor and the new one without the tumor. I would hear the doctor say he was amazed at the results. I would see and feel my husband and I doing a high five and getting very excited, and I would hear us saying, “it worked! it worked!” I would see and hear us thanking the doctor, feel us shaking his hand, and us leaving. Then I could feel taking a huge deep breath of relief as I let all the stress of the last 8 months release out of my body.
